Dopamine- about crazy things

 What is dopamine :-

Dopamine is a type of neurotransmitter. Your body makes it, and your nervous system uses it to send messages between nerve cells. That's why it's sometimes called a chemical messenger. Dopamine plays a role in how we feel pleasure. It's a big part of our unique human ability to think and plan.

Dopamine is associated with pleasurable sensations, along with learning, memory, motor system function, and more. Serotonin. This hormone (and neurotransmitter) helps regulate your mood as well as your sleep, appetite, digestion, learning ability, and memory.

Good or bad:-

our brain. Interacting with the pleasure and reward center of our brain, dopamine — along with other chemicals like serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins — plays a vital role in how happy we feel. In addition to our mood, dopamine also affects movement, memory, and focus.

When dopamine is released in large amounts, it creates feelings of pleasure and reward, which motivates you to repeat a specific behavior ( 4 , 5 ). In contrast, low levels of dopamine are linked to reduced motivation and decreased enthusiasm for things that would excite most people.

Without dopamine, our bodies and brains simply wouldn't work. ... Dopamine serves many complex functions in the brain, and only kindergarten brain science describes it as an addictive drug. Dopamine is connected to rewarding experiences, but not in that it makes you feel good.

During a “dopamine fast,” you're supposed to abstain from the kinds of things you normally enjoy doing, such as alcohol, sex, drugs, gaming, talking to others, going online and, in some extremes, pleasurable eating. The idea is to “reset” your neurochemical system by de-stimulating it.

A person who thinks they may be deficient in dopamine should see a doctor, since the diseases dopamine deficiency causes are treatable. If a person does not have a diagnosable illness, they may wish to try natural dopamine-increasing remedies.
